1828 Webster's Dictionary

A friend was telling me that I should ask in my class and see if anyone has an 1828 Webster's. Does anyone? However, this is what appeared on the online version that I found. If anyone can verify this is what it reads please do so!

If anyone is interested in the site, here it is!

Initiation 2

A good friend of mine wrote me and asked me a few questions about initiation.

I want to know within myself just how deep the slave program runs. Can you help me with that?

I say perhaps, according to how deep you are willing to go and most importantly acknowledge what you find.

I want to know if tribalism=socialism or anti-capitalism and if so, can tribes make money and obtain wealth without being agents of the…

On Father Divine

This man managed to do what people claim to want, the Black Power Nazis as Dr. B affectionately calls them. But who knows about him or is even willing to follow his model? His movement was long lasting and beneficial to all his followers, unlike most modern day preachers and their congregations. That layout alone was remarkable (ie. The hotels called heaven that allowed members to live cheap and the store where they could purchase all of their goods). The no gambling, no sex, no alcohol, and…

A rant/ plus my continued quest to learn epidemiology

I am undertaking some difficult classes these days. Speaking with Mr. Black a week or so ago, I was reminded of using a technique for remembering. I guess I have used some techniques in the past, but I did not "know" what to call them.  I did not  know that people pay thousands of dollars to learn "how to learn," or use some techniques someone in Memphis is trying to inspire people to teach THEMSELVES.  Yes... we have a man in our town who has mastered much of what there is to know about…

What ever is to be done must happen from the inside.  The choices that you decide to make for yourself will TELL a great deal of information about who you are.  In the end what you do depends on the decisions that you have made about yourself.  Your action(s) tells people what you’ve decided about who you are, and who they are, and why you are here, and why you think they are here, and what life itself is…

Linking lyrics to statistics

The text in parentheses explains what relationship the words in this poem have to the concepts in epidemiology and stats... these are some tough relationships to remember but I thought that using something I like to do (writing poems and lyrics) would help me learn this high level math. Hope you can use this to assist you. It may not help you or make sense to you but it really has helped me.

I'm trying to get a PhD

I took statistics but they still tryna…
