I came across some information, regarding petitioning for a commemorative stamp in honor of Dr. John Henrik Clarke.
Letters or postcards in support of a commemorative stamp in his likeness can be sent to: Citizens’ Stamp Advisory Committee, U.S. Postal Service, 1735 N. Lynn Street Room 5013, Arlington, VA 22209-6432.
The Committee does not track how many individual people submit a stamp design, only the number of postcards and letters they receive.
One more time we have the opportunity to take part in an event that will allow all who attend to give homage to the memory of those who have given their 'everything' to secure the greater good for the people that they love(d).
