Hey, I just started to read this article. The first thing that stood out was this bit of information.
Charles Hamilton Houston, the great attorney and dean of Howard University Law School, began in the early 1930s to execute his grand strategy to destroy the legal bulwarks of segregation. A crucial element of that plan was the formation of a civil rights “brain trust.”
Now back to reading!!!!
