THE RED PILL

DIALOGUE AND DISCUSSION ON EDUCATION, ENVIRONMENT AND RACE

Where is IT???

Whoever learns by argument, the existence of invisible intelligent power, must reason from the admirable contrivance of natural objects, and must suppose the world to be the workmanship of that divine being, the original cause of all things. But the vulgar polytheist, so far from admitting that idea, deifies every part of the universe, and conceives all the conspicuous productions of nature, to be themselves so many real divinities. The sun, moon, and stars, are all gods according to his system: Fountains are inhabited by nymphs, and trees by hamadryads: Even monkies, dogs, cats, and other animals often become sacred in his eyes, and strike him with a religious veneration. And thus, however strong men's propensity to believe invisible, intelligent power in nature, their propensity is equally strong to rest their attention on sensible, visible objects; and in order to reconcile these opposite inclinations, they are led to unite the invisible power with some visible object.

Please explain, in class, what this is talking about. As practice we may want to start here and see what we can come up with.

This is taking too long!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Divinity  use this insert as a stimulus

"This is contained in the insert"

Similar to Devil deriving from diabol -> diablo:

"while the terms demon and demonic are used in monotheistic faiths as antonyms to divine, they are in fact derived from the Greek word daimón (δαίμων), which itself translates as divinity."

From the Gospel of Thomas:

77. Jesus said, "I am the light that is over all things. I am all: from me all came forth, and to me all attained.

Split a piece of wood; I am there.

Lift up the stone, and you will find me there."

After reading this last sentence it occurred to me that even in the creation story(ies), even the invisible creator(s) is said to have brought the physical into existence and the creation in return recognizes the power of the invisible creator(s) through what can be seen.

And I smile !

Divinity (Divine + -ity) the state or condition of a deity. Deity from deus.  As I look at deity and divine, I also notice de- + -ity and di + vine.

  • De (Chinese) (德), a concept of "integrity" in Daoism and "virtue" in Confucianism
  • di (), a Chinese word employed in
    • the temple names of deified Chinese emperors
    • Shangdi (Chinese: 上帝lit. "Lord on High"), the Chinese name for the supreme sky god either in native Chinese beliefs or in translation of monotheistic faiths like Christianity and Islam
  • di (Chinese concept) (), the concept of "earth" in traditional Chinese cosmologies
  • di, an irregular Latin masculine plural of deus ("god", "deity"

In demonologyVine (also known as vain) is an Earl and also a King of Hell, commanded by Satan. He is known to be the trickiest, deadliest demon. He has the power to take one's soul without permission. Though according to spiritual teachings, one demon must ask permission from Satan before taking a soul, and Satan must get permission from God. He can tell present, past and future, discover witches and hidden things, create storms and make the water rough by means of these storms, bring down walls and build towers.

The etymology of his name seems to be stemming from the Latin word 'vinea', vine, which is also the name given to an ancient war machine made of wood and covered with leather and branches, used to overthrow walls.

Namaska Adisa, looks like you are going to be the ONE, who BE-comes, the facilitator of the mass (all)NEO.
