After the August March on Washington, Artists and Writers for Justice, a group including Ruby Dee, Louis Lomax, and James Baldwin, proposed a mass boycott of Christmas shopping.

Louis E. Lomax (August 16, 1922 – July 30, 1970) was an African-American journalist and author. He was also the first African-American television journalist.

Lomax died in a car accident when the brakes on his car failed near Santa Rosa, New Mexico.[13][14] At the time, he was working on a documentary concerning the role played by the FBI in the death of Malcolm X. According to The Washington Post staff writer Karl Evanzz, Lomax's death may have been connected to the documentary.[15] At the time of his death, Lomax had a 141-page FBI file.[16]

Everyone had best learn what this has to do with race, or, how does ignorance about an issue or subject cause scotoma, which in some cases is a serious mental disorder.
