this is interesting, I'm in Mexico where soccer is really popular and I had to walk away from a conversation, I've learned to finally, with a guy that was sooo shocked that I never was interested in sports.  I mean aside from the cheerleaders and the mascots, which are cool to watch for a while, it's just a bunch of sweaty guys running around after or with a ball, or puck, etc.  This also relates to the movie the Green Lantern.  Hal Jordan (The Green Lantern) could only defeat Parrallax (an entity of fear) after he had confronted his own fear.  I'm glad also that he mentions that the children are not at fault for the programing they receive from their parents, etc.  Unfortunately they do suffer the consequences. Thanks for the upload!!! maybe one day I'll understand why people are sooo interested in sports, I guess like Anthony Prior said is starts with the envoronment the child is in (Parents, etc).

Powerful person, i like this! In the movie Gladiator it's a scene where the politicians talk about how "clever" the "king" was for having "games" everyday to "distract" the "people" and take their "war and freedom".

I was at a friends one evening and walked in on a conversation an adult was having with my friend's son.  The words of advise he felt necessary to share with this child was to keep bouncing that ball, its your ticket.  I wanted to interupt and say the real ticket is to OWN the team.  I was surprised to see an article regarding an NBA player who stated that the players should created their own league, if an agreement can't be reached.  Good to see that someone is thinking.

I hope those who may be interested can learn some basics from this so that some of us can get busy!
