As a child I enjoyed this series and still do today. The Black Thought Police complained so much they stopped showing it in syndication.

OMG... the grammar - terrible. LOL

 I can't believe she would still approve of her daughter marrying this man. I guess she wanted him in her life by any means necessary; he was too cowardly to just tell the girl he didn't want to be with her.. some folks run from issues instead of facing them I guess, but end up messed up in the end.
