From reading the prologue there, I immediately get confirmation that where I had sensed the concept of a "Think Tank" to be essentially intellectualized marketing - well. That my thought was just an opinion, but studied people would consider it fact. 

Shame that this book is hard to find in the "digital library" - as in I failed to find a .pdf.  Means I'll have to eventually check it out from a library.  I have it noted for my "To read" list.
