It has been said that a wise man once asked of everyone that they should above all getting "get understanding". Now if you would, please discuss what was told to you when you were taught HOW to accomplish this task. Please take into consideration that there are NONE SO BLIND AS THOSE WHO WILL NOT LISTEN.

"Get Understanding" as I know it is to know why and how something came to be...for an example... to just get information and answers to questions really doesn't always signify a method of understanding.. 32 = 2a + 8... a=12...thats the answer and the question, but to understand it you would have to know what problem solving technique and equation to use to understand this...then you can... 26 = 2a +8...a=9.

I figured understanding was knowing how to reach the answers on tests in school. Sometimes with math I didn't understand how the teacher reached an answer or how other students understood the math problem on the chalk board. Questions I had about god, I always heard people repeating lean on your own understanding.
