THE RED PILL

DIALOGUE AND DISCUSSION ON EDUCATION, ENVIRONMENT AND RACE

Tuning one's ear is a very important aspect of understanding sounds. In addition, tuning one's voice is just as important, in order to transmit sound whether through talking or singing, or even grunts, grunts, etc. When considering the voice, the breath is something that should be investigated in order to sing with and not against one's body (e.g. (sic) vocal chords). This will be a place to discuss such matters.  To start off; what do you know about singing?  Who are some artists you find worthwhile to listen to?

What I know about singing, is that one must shape their mouth, pronunciate and sing from the diaphram and not from the vocal cords.  I listen to a variety of singers, music but I tend to enjoy singers that can sing with power or a fullness.

That's a great start!  I have heard many singers who use their vocal chords incorrectly and when they get older their voices are weak.  Fortunately, there are many singers who where able to still sing from their diaphragm/abdomen such as Little Jimmy Scott, Gal Costa, Cesaria Evora, Ibrahim Ferrer ad of course Marvin Gaye (even though he was killed while still relatively young).
