Japanese Music Spotlight: Enka

Of course there is an article here:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enka, on Enka, but suffice it to say if you have heard Stevie Wonder's "I Just Called to Say I Love You" you are already familiar with the sound of Enka and the usual topic; love (romance).  It is interesting though that in the last few years the style which could be called a mixture of Doo Wop and Country ballad has become popular again in Japan thanks to a singer named Jero " ジェロ".  Check out the video (https://redpilltraining.ning.com/video/3561936:Video:69215) then comment there and/or here and let me know what you think.
