THE RED PILL

DIALOGUE AND DISCUSSION ON EDUCATION, ENVIRONMENT AND RACE

Those are the questions. With a new president the country has been buzzing about race. Is the race issue over? Have African Americans finally arrived? You may have seen or heard these and other issues discussed on TV or radio. CNN is doing a part 2 to race in a few days.

They trot out the so called experts and they espouse all the power words, and phrases guaranteed to up the viewership. However, race remains a complex sensitive issue on our national and local landscape. Have you ever wondered why?

Tell me how did you get to be white or black or yellow or red? How long have you been white or black? Where did the concept of race by color come from? Who started it? In fact what is race?

Most conversations around this issue start at the end or in the middle. The assumption is you are what you already think you are. Well, what if you are not? What if you are something else and didn't know it?

What is culture? Who defined it for you? What is your heritage and who defined it for you? Where did you learn about these things? How do you know any of it is true? These are just a few of the questions from the buzz words around race. Upon close inspection and examination how they are used in present context may not stand up to logic and truth.

What if they didn't? What if this race issue was just something made up? What difference would it make? Before you answer that think about it and think about it deeply. Those are just some of the topics and issues we will address straight forward in the Red Pill II training. Let me assure you we will address some issues and facts that can be life changing if you look deeply enough.

To be or not to be, that is the question.

I was reading the American Anthropological Association Statement on Race" (http://www.aaanet.org/stmts/racepp.htm) which referenced The Great Chain of Being as the foundation of the modern concept of "race."

The great chain of being (Latin: scala naturae, literally "ladder/stair-way of nature"), is a concept derived from Plato, Aristotle, and Proclus; further developed during the Middle Ages, it reached full expression in early modern Neoplatonism.[1] [2] It details a strict, religious hierarchical structure of all matter and life, believed to have been decreed by God. The chain starts from God and progresses downward to angels, demons (fallen/renegade angels), stars, moon, kings, princes, nobles, men, wild animals, domesticated animals, trees, other plants, precious stones, precious metals, and other minerals.[3]

The idea of this concept places God at the top of a hierarchy and beneath him, the angels, who both existing wholly in spirit form.  My question:  What then is spirit form?

After reading this concept, other questions I have is regarding kings, princes, nobles and men.  Since this is believed to have been decreed by God, who did God decree this to?  How was this decreed by God?  What happened if at that time, if it was the belief of another to have also received this decree from God?

The article further reads, the Divine Right of Kings, is thought to have originated in the interpretations of Roman law by Jean Bodin and it is said that James VI of Scotland wrote in textbooks of this divine right of kings before his accession to the English throne.  It is thought that the direct precursor to the concept of this divine right developed in early Mesopotamian cultures, where kings were often regarded as deities following their death.  Shulgi of Ur was among the first Mesopotamian rulers to declare himself to be divine and this thought had influence in Egypt and in Roman religions.

In the orient, it is thought that rulers justified their position with the concepts of the Mandate of Heaven and the Son of Heaven.  Though these concepts differ they appear offer the same results; hierarchy, division of people and the infringement upon others deemed to be at the bottom.

In classical Chinese political thought, the "Son of Heaven" (Emperor of China) (Chinese天子pinyintiānzǐWade–Gilest'ien1-tzu3), having received the Mandate of Heaven, would nominally be the ruler of the entire world. Although in practice there would be areas of the known world which were not under the control of the Emperor, in Chinese political theory the rulers of those areas derived their power from the Emperor.

Tianxia (tiānxià/tien-hsiaChinese天下; literally: "under heaven") is a Chinese word and an ancient Chinese cultural concept that denoted either the entire geographical world or the metaphysical realm of mortals, and later became associated with political sovereignty.

In Noah Webster's book titled, "History Of Animals; Designed For The Instruction and Amusement Of Both Sexes", the Lapland people are described as short in stature not generally more than 4 feet in height and at the most 5 feet.  Although "named" Lapland people by the English, these people identified themselves as Sami or Saami.  The Sami are said to be the indigenous people of Northern Europe or Sampi, today known as  Sweden, Norway, Finland and the Kola Peninsula of Russia.  It is believed the Sami people practiced a hunter gatherer lifestyle.

Interesting.

Why Race? Why Now? ( Posted July 10, 2009)
Why race and why now? Based on the date of the original post, I think race was a hot subject due to the election of the 44th president of the United States of America. The person elected has the appearance of what most identify to be a black man. Growing up, I recall hearing a so called black man would never be elected as president of the U.S. and up until January 20, 2099 only those who had the appearance of what most identify to be white men had held that position.

Is the race issue over?
The issue of race is not over simply due to one individual being elected in office. The issue of race will continue on until it is known or discussed what race actually is.

Have African Americans finally arrived?
Many who identify themselves as African Americans particularly people in America who also identify themselves as descendents of slavery may feel African Americans have finally arrived with the election of President Barrack Obama.

Tell me how did you get to be white or black or yellow or red?
Someone told me or I overheard someone say when I was a young child that I was black and/or people that look like me are black people. I never understood it, because I could tell a difference between the color black and the color of my skin.

How long have you been white or black?
I was born in the early 1970s and since that time I have been made aware that I was a negro, colored, black, afro american and now african american. No one ever explained why the different identifications.

Where did the concept of race by color come from? Who started it? In fact what is race?
Unless I am mistaken, the concept of race by color came from the theory of one individual in the late 1700s.

What is culture?
Prior to KNOWing what culture is, I believed culture to be associated with customs of each of the identified races. Now I know, culture is not associated with said customs of the misnomered races of people.

Who defined it for you?
I can not name one particular person who defined culture for me, I was told that’s what it meant and I have no one to blame but me for accepting it to be the truth.

What is your heritage and who defined it for you?
I can say the same for “MY” heritage; I associated it with the history of “MY/OUR” people.

Where did you learn about these things?
I heard of these things in school, in the neighborhood at family functions etc. The belief of the meanings of these words were enforced and engrained as truth for as long as I can recall.

How do you know any of it is true?
I accepted it as truth; I never questioned it or was informed how I could determine if it were in fact the truth. I don’t recall anyone questioning any of it and don’t recall it being encouraged to even question. As I became older I soon realized those who questioned were called names such as sell out.

What if this race issue was just something made up? What difference would it make?
I now know what is true and what is made up and/or assumed. To me I think it makes a world of difference to not just accept anything with out further inspection. I think it gives power to anyone who makes a decision to look further into any belief, idea, concept, description and/or identification. Why? What if it’s something derogatory. Why give that power or ability to someone else especially if that person or persons does not have a people’s best interest in mind.

So much more to learn and know the question I have is with verifiable information available why do some still choose to continue to ignore or remain ignor-ant? Are some afraid that knowing would cause some sort of action? As Uncle Ben stated to Peter Paker aka Spiderman; “With great power, comes great responsibility.”

Cypher requested that the agents place him back into the Matrix. He wanted to have "zero" or no memory of ever being outside of the Matrix.  I'm afraid that Cypher's logic in the movie is representative of the sentiment expressed by many people living within this real life matrix.  they would rather not know. Empty mindedness is easier...
