This link leads in many different information channels!  I will be taking my time with this one.  Maybe, this information is not introduced in school because it could cause questions to be asked and it goes against the image of so called black people simply living in grass huts in Africa.

So far I've learned of maps of the old world.  Many of the first maps identify the area we call Africa today as Libya.  There is a TV show I enjoy watching that introduces viewers to historic information.  On the latest episode, one of the characters refers t so called black people as Libyans.  No I have a better understanding as to why that may have been.

Also, the program on HBO that is called Boardwalk Empire, has a character that refers to so-called negros, as Libyans.  We should find out who this character is depicting, in other words what was his name in real life.

Ive found the person you speak of has connections with the Harlem Rennaissance as well.

The image above is the flag/colors of Ethiopia, and represents the Lion of Judah.  The Lion of Judah is the symbol of the Israelite tribe of Judah. Judah, the fourth son of Jacob, is said to be the tribe's founder.

Tekle Giyorgis I is of the house of Solomon.  The members of the House of Solomon are said to be of lineage to Solomon of Israel aka Solomon the wise aka King of Isreal of the House of David.
