The Adverse Effects of Milk by Loren Cordain & Pedro Bastos

Rob you asked about milk and I found this article that might be of interest.

Personally, I am all for a moderation diet. However I have decided to embark on a 30 day diet (http://whole9life.com/category/whole-30/) on my 36th birthday that will cut out all dairy, legumes, grains and alcohol. If I feel majorly better, then I may not want to be moderate but occasional or rarely with some of these foods.

A couple of other topics that you can search to learn about the importance of whole (read as REAL) foods and a diet rich in fruits and vegetables:

The China Study

The Paleolithic Diet

The Gold Coast Cure

Preventative Medicine Research Institute

The Gersen Institute

A simple recipe to get a fresh vegetable into all your dinner:

Roasted Vegetables

Take any vegetable or more than one that you like, I use carrots, onions, asparagus, sweet potatoes (more nutrients than white), zucchini, yellow squash, okra, yellow squash, my favorite when they are in season are Brussels sprouts:

Preheat oven to 475 degrees

Cut your veggies the way you like them

Lightly toss with olive oil

Toss with spices fo choice (salt, pepper, cumin, curry, etc)

Place on a cookie sheet

Cook for 35-45 minutes, turning once during cooking

Thank You Kym and Namaska

Glad to hear from U, and, a number of us actually use the information that you research.  In the class that we have for the young people we have, for years, shown that milk is not a substance that is of benefit to and for existence.

I love cheese, it is a weakness. But I could give up most cheese and just have it on special occasions.
