Take Your Time

Last night in class I suggested, especially to newer members to take their time in learning this different way of learning how to learn. I also suggested that there are no short cuts. I remember when I first started this course Mr. Black saying to me that children get this a lot quicker than adults because their indoctrination hasn't been going on as long nor has it penetrated as deeply as it has into adults.

 

That means they don't have a much to unlearn.

Time will tell as to how many, actually, were able to hear the advice that was given at the class on this past Wednesday.

I find myself rushing through research of topics discussed in class, and it feels as though I get behind as the weeks go on because SO much information is imparted.  There are papers, note books, printed PDFs, dictionaries & encyclopedias scattered all over almost every room in my house.  I've started 1000 things and haven't completed any of them.  My innate need to organize things wants a starting point and for things to flow smoothly along in some type of order.  Then there's the pressure of trying to get my son, who is already behind at 4 years old, caught up in his education. I'm sure things will get easier once I learn more, but it's a struggle right now.  At least there's not a test at the end of class.
