Sister, Jessica, good hearing from you Lord; what an insightful essay. Occasionally, and I do mean occasionally, I have met people with qualities like Jonathan who themselves have inspired me to look and reach beyond the obvious, the mundane and mediocre. Like the little boy who stumbled upon the room full of horse manure I thought, "There must be a pony in here somewhere." The good news is, there is. The bad news is there are a plethora of barriers, both inner and outer, that one will encounter, being on the path.

Jonathan seemed to be driven by the "divine wind" to greater heights and by following his mission he saw that eating and eating well was but a consequence of flying high and flying well. The metaphor when applied to the human existence reinforces the notion of doing something to the best of one's ability. However, what are the limits to one's ability? Just how much can one learn and know in a lifetime?

Often when I have suggested to people to try the "art of flying" they say they are too old, or their wings are too short, meaning they don't have the proper tools and training to fly, as in knowing how to know. That is when I suggest they read JLS as an inspiration.
Nowwww we are Cooking (FOR REAL) for the SOUL

“Jonathan Seagull spent the rest of his days alone, but he flew way out beyond the far cliffs. His one sorrow was not solitude, it was that other gulls refused to believe the glory of flight that awaited them; they refused to open their eyes and see. What he had hoped for the flock he now gained for himself alone; he learned to fly and was not sorry for the price he had paid. They came in the evening then, and found Jonathan gliding peaceful and alone through his beloved sky.”

I chose these passages because I recall times growing up and thinking I was alone with my perceptions, views and questions. Feeling a little different I wondered why others didn't seem to want to explore or just seemed content with going along to get along. I've been called a loner, anti-social and have even been asked if I hate people. I don't hate people but I have been introduced to terms such as humanoids or zombies, now these types of “people” I can live peacefully without. I do enjoy solitude enough to think, reflect, recharge, search for answers and I have a greater understanding for the saying the road less traveled is a lonely one. For what seems like just a few months, I have been looking in quite a few rabbit holes looking for answers and/or some understanding. It has been frustrating at times, especially when I wanted to share what appears to be another piece of the puzzle or missing link but, I soon realized the flock is quick to respond with predictable responses. One day while out practicing my new flying techniques I happen to glance over and I see that I am not alone! I am in flight with others who have been learning and teaching themselves as well. No limits!

Adisa---I SEE YOU!!!

Adisa, glad you looked this way. I so relate to what you wrote. Isolation is a tool of the construct. It has this uncanny ability to present insanity as a wholesome thing because everyone else is doing it. Thus the insane appears sane because it is familiar. Most acquiesce and adorn the robe of insanity, many isolate and still go insane in the loneliness of isolation, a few just embrace isolation as a consequence of thinking for themselves and even fewer find a home where free thinking is encouraged and embraced. Welcome home God.
Birds of a particular feather most offten FLY together!!!!

There is truly more to life then just living. That damn boat is the construct it's so easy to get caught up.

It appears that the book is no longer here---get in touch with Mr. Black and he will put you in touch with a way to get the work.
