B.

Epistemology is concerned with the nature and scope of knowledge, such as the relationships between truth, belief, and theories of justification.

B.

This is a must science to learn!

As listed in the 1935 Columbia Encyclopedia Volume 1:

Epistemology (Greek=discussion of knowledge) is that branch of philosophy which investigates (a) the origin and (b) the nature of knowledge.  It is a discipline distinct from logic, which has traditionally occupied itself with the mind's operations in the knowledge process.  As regards (a) the origin of knowledge, EMPIRICISM traces all knowledge to sense-perception; RATIONALISM insists that the mind contributes to knowledge certain general ideas not derived from experience.  As regards (b) the nature of knowledge, REALISM teaches that the object of knowledge is independently real; while IDEALISM makes the object entirely or in part dependent on the mind's activity.

Some of us may need to learn how to set up and use an element chart in order to break apart the data in an effort to better understand the information that is being presented.
