THE RED PILL

DIALOGUE AND DISCUSSION ON EDUCATION, ENVIRONMENT AND RACE

Organized by Thomas Jefferson and James Madison in 1791.  Also known as "Jeffersonian Republicans" to distinguish it from the modern Republican party founded in 1854.  The Democratic-Republican Party was to counteract the Federalist Party.  These two parties existed in the era of the First Party System between the years 1792 and 1824.  Between the years 1824-1828, the Second Party System emerged and the Republican party split into the Jacksonian Faction (Andrew Jackson) and became the modern Democratic Party.

Adisa---the present two party system is still the same one party.  Is it not strange that we do not get information about the other parties that are running candidates for public office.

Very interesting information!  I've heard of the green party and knew of candidates running on the independent ticket, but I did not have any idea of all the data provided with this search.  The last time I participated in the voting process, I used my vote for some one running as an independent.  I was told by someone who follows the two-party blue and red candidates that I essentially wasted my vote.  I wondered why other candidates are not invited to participate in the televised debates, but now I have some idea why that is.

Most people who talk about voting and politics know absolutely nothing about how the system works or how it is set up.  Keep doing the work, because every time one more understands our young people will have a better chance at reality and truth and maybe justice.
