A discussion about the origins and concept of race.  Again there are calls to have dialogue about race and community/police relations. They'll be the two hour national town halls. Then they will trot out so called race experts and talk about everything but race.

They will again confuse and fuse race and diversity and racism and racists and never get to the origins and meanings of the concepts themselves.
I ask how can you have a meaningful exchange and dialogue when few people actually know the genesis of what the subject matter they are discussing?

What you will have is spurious argument based on beliefs regardless if such beliefs are grounded in fact. The conversation deteriorates, the loud and impassioned make the most noise the rest retreat back into the fog of confusion.

Well we intend to do something about that. Starting this Wednesday Dr. Clifford Black, the best in the world at this, and yours truly, will be facilitating a weekly session on race.

We will explore in an intelligent and methodical way the origins of race, racism, blackness, and many of the myths and misconceptions surrounding them.
