Notes as I watch:

1. I recall the theme of freedom vs. liberty.  The mind vs. body.  A degree only treats the mind ("how well?" of course being a valid question).  I can free my mind and liberate my bodily needs by independent study and becoming a welder. Hmm. I'm gonna have to learn if my body could do it.

2. I have recalled my beef with him. And now it is no longer a disagreement from what I am learning to see. I recalled him being smashed against Bernie Sanders early in the campaign by the media and I could not remember why.  Now I can see that he had one difference in philosophy and that was played up while the content of the discussion between their ideas was played down. Brutal neoliberalism.

3. I do think the mashup with Dave Ramsey and the rest of the footage after the 10 minute mark is a simplification, but I will accept Mike Rowe's point.
