Tennessee State Parks

Dear Friends,

Registration is now open for T.O. Fuller State Park’s Junior Ranger Day Camp. The camp will be held June 18-20 for ages six to 14.

The free camp will offer programs to help children build a better relationship with the great outdoors and to have fun while learning. It will be held each day from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Programs will include safety, Birds of Prey, reptiles and amphibians, park history, geology, wetlands and plants. The camp will also include various hikes, games and crafts.

Campers should bring sturdy shoes for hiking, along with shoes to wear in the creek for a water hike. They should also bring sunscreen, a hat, small backpack, insect repellent and a camera. Snacks and water will be provided.

The registration deadline is June 13. Forms can be picked up at the park office or by contacting Michael.Champagne@tn.gov or 901-785-8485. The camp is limited to 30 participants.

For additional information, contact 901-543-7581.

Thanks for your support!
