John, I was part of the very first multicultural event in MKP. It was called the Racial Healing Training. It was the precursor the OCL 101 and Issues and Isms.
I hear what they are saying, it's just that it doesn't add up because privilege is relative. I don't expect anyone to give up anything if they earned it or not.
I' suggesting it is all based on a false premise/. Just as they suggest that so called black people cannot be racist. If that is so then so called white people cannot be racist either. However, the rabbit hole is a lot deeper than meets the eye.
What if race itself is a false concept? What if there is empirical data and information to prove that? What if there are few, if any, white people? What would you say to that? Just hear me I am going somewhere with this. Just consider the questions. How would this impact your thinking and feelings about this whole issue?
I am not familiar with him though both Stephan Mc from Memphis and Steve Flowers from Chicago attended the workshop. Though I have heard the trem white privilege and have actually been to some trainings where it was explained I can't understand it.
Something about it is completely disempowering for me if I buy into it.
Heck man didn't know there was so many variations of photography. lol
See you been at it a while. My wife tells me to never pick up a camera because I can make a tree look bad.

By the way, your photo has you next to a light. Are you an artist or film maker?
