DIALOGUE AND DISCUSSION ON EDUCATION, ENVIRONMENT AND RACE

It seems entirely possible that the earliest mystery schools, esoteric orders, and what would later become “secret societies” began with one thing — the stars.

Long before temples, lodges, or sacred texts, early humans looked upward and found a world of moving lights tracing precise patterns across the heavens. Those patterns became the first mysteries — the hidden knowledge reserved for those who observed, recorded, and interpreted the sky.

The upward-pointing triangle — the masculine principle within the hexagram — symbolizes this higher realm. It points toward the heavens, toward the domain the ancients associated with the gods, with order, with fate, and with the powers that shaped human life.

And in those heavens, ancient observers identified something extraordinary:

A brilliant celestial “eye” shining with an intensity unlike the others. A cosmic overseer. A fatherly presence watching from above.

Across different cultures, this became the all-seeing father — the divine eye. Later, it would be stylized as the Eye of Providence, placed inside an upward-pointing triangle, representing Father Sky, divine vision, and cosmic authority.

When you connect the dots:

Deus

Dyeus / Dyēus Pater

Zeus / Jupiter

The Eye within the Triangle

The Masculine triangle of the hexagram pointing to heaven

…it becomes clear that many of these symbols are not random. They are echoes of a very old way of seeing the world — a worldview learned by watching the sky.

Before astronomy became a science and before religion became organized, there were simply human beings trying to understand existence by studying the lights above them.
Those who understood the heavens became keepers of knowledge — the first astronomer-priests, storytellers, wisdom-keepers.

The “mysteries” may have been nothing more — and nothing less — than the hidden order they saw written in the sky.
