Hi, I'm really enjoying listening to your show right now (Wednesday, Oct 21, 2009).
Two Question: "Why are you "reluctant"?" and for the poetry event coming up, will there be any neighborhoold kids reading poetry? The reason I ask is that ART is always a large part of providing a great avenue for leading kids away from "The Life". Example:
"Michael Meade is a renowned storyteller, author, and scholar of mythology, anthropology, and psychology. He combines hypnotic and fiery storytelling, street savvy perceptiveness, and spellbinding interpretations of ancient myths with a deep knowledge of cross-cultural rituals. He has created 'Voices of Youth'. Voices of Youth is a series of projects that involve diverse youth in a variety of communities. Through Voices, youth are engaged in the creation of an artistic forum for their own expression while developing mentoring relationships within their community."
Hi, my apologies for dropping out of the show on Wed. I ran over something in the road and it punctured my transmission pan. So, I've had to pull over and make arrangements for AAA to come get me.
