Event Description

National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day is a yearly ocassion where we put focus and emphasis on HIV/AIDS education and prevention and HIV counseling and screenings in the Black community! This will be an all-day event at St. Andrew AME Church Community Life Center. The sponsors of this event along with the church, Project HOPE and Clear Channels Communications, along with various other community based organizations. There will be a variety of health screenings by the Memphis Health Department and other health organizations. A LIVE remote by V101.1 FM featuring Stan Bell from 3pm-7pm and an evening of entertainment featuring local artists, poets, and dancers. The entire community is invited!!!!
